This mini-series based on Raymond Khoury’s 2005 novel of the same name focuses on an archaeologist named Tess Chaykin (played by Mira Sorvino) who delves into the mysteries of the secret order of the Knights Templar. After she witnesses the theft of an ancient artifact by men dressed as members of that order, Tess sets out to recover it with the assistance of an FBI agent. This leads them to the brink of an ancient secret kept hidden by the Vatican. The four hour mini-series will run across two nights (January 25th and 26th) and sounds a lot like a small screen take on the Da Vinci Code. Should be worth a look, though.
